Most studios treat instructors like shift fillers.
We don't.
Who We Are
At Barefoot, we teach strength-based, science-backed Pilates. We care deeply about helping people move freely, get stronger, feel more confident in their bodies and actually enjoy exercise. Our classes are supportive, results driven and effective — not just choreography for the sake of it.
What Teaching at Barefoot Studio Looks Like
You teach our programming — no class planning on your own time
Paid training and mentorship throughout your time with us
Strong community connection — you'll actually know your clients
Unlimited Membership
Who We’re Looking For
This role will suit someone who genuinely loves people, loves learning and wants to keep improving their craft as a teacher.
YOU:
Can teach, or are EXCITED to learn to teach Reformer Pilates to all abilities and backgrounds
Can’t imagine life without learning, growing and improving yourself
Resonate strongly with our Mission, culture and values
Want to be the absolute best and continually strive to improve
Want to engage with people in and outside of class
Are motivated by clear outcome goals, transparent accountability and plain language feedback
Agree that an instructor’s job is to fill the class with delighted clients by delivering results, connecting with clients, and connecting clients with each other both in and out of class
This probably isn’t the role for someone who just wants to come in, teach a few classes and leave. We’re looking for someone who wants to connect with members, grow professionally and be part of what we’re building here at Barefoot.
How to Apply
Step 1: Fill out a short form. No cover letter required.
Step 2: If it feels like a fit, we'll reach out to invite you to the next step, a short and informal video questionnaire.
Step 3: A get-to-know you session at the studio — a chance for both of us to see if it's the right match.
