Barefoot Studio Membership –Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

1. A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You will be contacted via text, phone or email prior to the start of class should it need to be cancelled and your session returned.

2. Out of consideration for the teacher and other clients, please don't be late. Please be aware that if you are more than 5 minutes late for a class, your spot may be given to a waitlisted or stand-by client and you may not be able to attend.

3. Instructors reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; instructors reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance.

4. If a class you want is full, you can sign up for the waitlist. Should a place become available you will receive either an email or text from us offering you a place in the class. You are under no obligation to take a waitlisted offer, but please respond if you can attend or not. If you cannot make it, your place will be offered to the next client.

5. Sessions are not transferrable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. 

6. Gift cards can be used for Pilates classes Barefoot Studio. They are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. Barefoot Studio does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on Gift Cards for change of mind, injury / illness (without medical certificate), change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final and in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Law.

7. Our Intro Offer of 5 classes (valid for 14 days) is only available to brand new clients. You can only purchase the introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking

8. Class Packs are valid for 3 months from purchase date. Casual Classes are valid for 1 month from purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. 

9. Private, Small Group and Duet Class Passes are valid for 6 months from purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. 

10. Private, Small Group and Duet Classes must be paid in full on the day (if not before). If these sessions are cancelled 12 hours or more prior to the class start time full payment for the class will be charged.

Fortnightly Membership - Autopay Method (Renews every 14 days)

1. Memberships operate on a 14 day Direct Debit Autopay schedule using the Bank details stored in Momence (a secure system) supplied by the client on signup. 

2. Members are liable to pay a late fee of $5 if payment fails to authorize for any reason. Members services will be deactivated if payment is not made within 10 days of the original rejection date. 

3. Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Barefoot Studio is notified of a termination request in writing (see Termination Policy below). 

4. Unused classes in the fortnight will rollover by an additional 30 days.

5. Members can purchase additional sessions at $25 per class. This is the responsibility of the member to arrange prior to taking class via purchasing individual sessions through Momence. Additional sessions will be valid for 30 days from purchase. If during the fortnightly cycle, an extra session is taken and shows as owing, $25 will automatically be charged to the card on file per session booked, regardless of late cancel or no show.

6. Memberships may be subject to price increase, but will be communicated in writing prior to any change. 

Membership Cancelation Policy 

1. A $10 fee will be charged to all Unlimited Membership holders who are absent or late cancel a class within 12 hours of the start time. This will be processed automatically via the clients stored payment details after the scheduled class.

2. Other membership holders will forfeit one of their classes for late cancellations within 12 hours of the start time of class time and no shows. 

Membership Suspensions

1. At least 7 business days in advance of your next billing date in written notice is required for your request to be effective for the following scheduled auto pay. Your billing date is based on your contract start date. This ensures that the correct processes are put in place to cease payments that are scheduled for the given period. 

2. You can suspend your auto pay schedule for a minimum of 7 days. A request is to be made in writing to hello@barefootstudiopilates.com

3. Following the end of your requested suspension period, your weekly auto-renew will automatically be reactivated. 

Membership Termination

1. The Barefoot Unlimited Membership is a recurring payment each 14 days unless written notice of termination is given at least 14 days before your next billing cycle. Please email request to terminate your membership to hello@barefootstudiopilates.com

2. In the case of long term or permanent injury or illness that prevents the use of our services, immediate membership termination will be permitted. Termination will take effect from the date we receive written confirmation from your doctor.

We hold the copyright to the content of this Website, including all uploaded files, layout design, data, graphics, articles, file content, codes, news, tutorials, videos, reviews, forum posts and databases contained on the Website or in connection with the Services. You must not use or replicate our copyright material other than as permitted by law.  Specifically, you must not use or replicate our copyright material for commercial purposes unless expressly agreed to by Us, in which case we may require you to sign a Licence Agreement.

Pricing, Sales & Discounts

Pricing, packages and discounts/sales are regularly updated or changed to reflect our experience and services included and occur without prior notice. All contracts and agreements already in place for the agreed time period are unaffected by changes in pricing.
